Her story

Maggie’s journey into education began with her own experience of learning differently. She grew up with French speaking parents, learning English as an additional language, and went through school as a dyslexic learner. Those years showed her how easily a capable child can feel overlooked when teaching does not meet them where they are.

Rather than letting those challenges define what was possible, Maggie turned them into purpose. She built a career in education, specialising in Computer Science and Mathematics, and has taught pupils from Year 7 to A-Level through thoughtful curriculum design, digital learning and teaching adapted to different needs. Every learner she has taught has strengthened one belief: confidence grows when someone takes the time to explain things in the right way.

Her impact reaches beyond the classroom. As a member of a Teaching and Learning Committee, Maggie helped shape whole school strategy for curriculum, assessment and CPD, championing evidence based practice, inclusion and stretch and challenge. Through a School Strategy Programme, she also helped set priorities for teaching, learning and staff development. This leadership experience now guides how Senary Learning supports its tutors and partner schools.

Senary Learning grew from that experience and belief. Maggie founded it to help families everywhere find personalised, safeguarding first support for Grade 7, Grade 9, Grade 12, GCE and Cambridge pathways.

Her hope is simple

That every learner feels seen, every parent feels supported and every teacher can make a lasting difference. Education can change far more than an exam result, it can change what a young person believes is possible.
